Outperform with the InsulFast™ T4 Compact
Everyone wants to work smarter, not harder. Now thanks to gas technology, tradies benefit from using tools that are more powerful, lighter and quieter than ever before.

Gas technology combines performance and productivity to create a smoother tool with less vibration and noise. Reduced downtime and misfiring means unmatched power and capability, making your time on the tools more productive.

Our newest offering, the InsulFast™ T4 Compact, provides effortless wall and overhead fixing of insulation with virtually no recoil and automatic power adjustment – all in a small yet tough package.

Why are gas tools better than battery tools?

Gas-powered tools have fewer mechanical moving parts than battery-powered tools, resulting in less malfunctions, reduced need for servicing, and simplified maintenance. They are quieter and perform more consistently, even in the most demanding conditions. Fewer disruptions and delays mean you can meet deadlines and get the job done.

Other benefits include:

  • Longer lifespan with proper maintenance
  • No downtime to cool down
  • Consistent power even at low percentage

Versatile and lightweight

A compact tool with increased performance, the Ramset™ InsulFast™ T4 Compact is twice as fast as powder-actuated systems.

Lighter and tougher, the system delivers 95J of power for increased productivity and reduced fatigue. Built compact and strong, it’s the go-to choice for tradies who mean business.

Tradies who spend their days fixing soft and semi-rigid insulation panels under ventilated facades, wall fixing, and overhead applications know the benefits of working with lightweight tools.

Weighing just 3.3kg the InsulFast™ T4 Compact results in significantly less user fatigue thanks to the ergonomic grip and a low tool compression force that enhances user comfort. The small size belies its power – try it for yourself.

The smarter insulation fastening system

InsulFast™ T4 Compact is designed to be used with Ramset™ fasteners. Our patented fasteners achieve 99.5% thermal efficiency, while the engineered shaft reduces friction, and flanges ensure insulation remains in place during the fastening process. They are designed to pierce insulation material with little effort resulting in a quick and easy install.

We build patented overdrive technology into every gas-powered tool in the range. With consistent and clean fastening, InsulFast™ T4 Compact is the smarter insulation fastening system. The capability to directly fasten insulation to concrete, hollow block, and steel studs eliminates the need for glue and insulation anchors, streamlining the process.

The capacity to deliver 500-750 shots per fuel cell significantly reduces time and labour costs compared to traditional fastening methods.

Why professionals love gas tools

The lightweight nature of gas tools means fewer misfires than their battery counterparts, resulting in more efficient use of time.

One of the standout advantages of gas tools like the InsulFast™ T4 Compact is their remarkable level of autonomy, allowing professionals to work more efficiently and with fewer interruptions. This autonomy comes from being able to work without the need for constant power sources or battery changes, ensuring tasks are completed faster and with greater consistency.

The InsulFast™ T4 Compact offers unparalleled freedom of movement and reliability, allowing users to tackle projects anywhere, anytime, reducing downtime and letting you get on with the job.

How do I look after my gas-powered tool?

Like any tool, your InsulFast™ T4 Compact will last longer and deliver better results if you take care of it.

Regular maintenance should be completed every one to three years, or after every 30,000 shots, depending on how often the tool is used. This maintenance can range from simple cleaning to more complex internal inspections, which can identify wear and tear before it becomes a significant issue. Understanding how the fuel cells that power your tool work is crucial. These cells operate similarly to batteries but don’t require recharging, making them a convenient power source for your tool. To ensure their efficiency and longevity, it’s important to store them properly—ideally in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This helps maintain their integrity and performance over time. Always check the expiry date on the fuel cells and replace them as needed.

After using your InsulFast™ T4 Compact ensure it is cleaned and free of debris, which can accumulate and affect its functionality. Store in a dry, secure location where it is protected from the elements and any potential damage. Regularly inspecting your tool for signs of wear or damage, especially before and after use can help ensure safety and efficiency.
