Underpinning ReidBrace™ is ReidBar™, a continuously threaded 500N reinforcing bar system manufactured locally & strictly to the requirements of AS/NZS 4671. This continuous thread design makes ReidBrace easy to install and to adjust onsite. No more costly reworks and lengthy extra processes onsite, thus saving time, money and keeping projects on track.

A rigorously tested system
ReidBrace™’s engineered design has undergone rigorous testing as an integrated system to ensure it is not only just fit for purpose, but also elevates the benchmark for tension cross bracing in Australia. The extent of testing includes:
- Monotonic static tensile testing as a full assembly
- Impact tensile testing under sub-zero temperatures
Repeated push & pull testing as a full assembly to simulate cyclic, cyclonic and seismic loading conditions.
These results are packaged in a simple, easy to understand design guide which allows engineers to specify the ReidBrace™system with ease and confidence.
