FEATURES & BENEFITS
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
Sets rock hard
Bond is stronger than concrete
High build consistency
Suitable for filling voids with thick cross-section – low heat generated during cure
High compressive strength
100% solids epoxy – solvent free and negligible shrinkage
Water proof when cured
Equal Parts Mix Ratio - Easy to use and measure
TRADES & APPLICATIONS
Repair broken and spalled concrete
Read Technical Data Sheet and Material Safety Data Sheet before commencing
To ensure a strong bond, thoroughly clean concrete surface using shot blasting or high pressure water jet to remove dust and other contaminants. Concrete surface must be dry.
Epoxy Paste 1210 must be thoroughly mixed. Incomplete mixing will result in hard and soft spots and affect the mortar’s strength
Measure equal parts of Part A and Part B onto a flat boardUsing a spatula knead the two parts together until the colour is a uniform grey with no streaks
POT LIFE: Pot life depends upon ambient temperature and volume of epoxy. As a guide a 4 L kit will have about 2 hours of pot life at 25°C
Apply Epoxy Paste 1210 using gloved hand or spatula and smooth surface with a trowel
Epoxy Paste 1210 will achieve about 80% of its final cure strength in 24 hours (in temperatures above 10°C), and will achieve full strength in 24 hours. Remove formwork and apply full torque to bolts after 24 hours.
