Ramset™ Diamond Cores use industrial grade diamond, which is the hardest material on earth. They are ground down into very small pieces and mixed with a metallic paste called the bond. This is what holds the diamonds in place and forms the segments or the teeth of the core bit. Diamonds within the segments are very brittle and break several times before wearing away, this breaking constantly exposes new sharp cutting edges and it is these edges that cut the material. Ramset™ offer a comprehensive range of Diamond Cores, which have been selected to meet most common coring applications.

Voltage Operating Tips Refer to the drilling machine instructions to ensure the correct speed is selected for the hole size and the hardness of the material being drilled.
General rule: • Smaller holes higher speed • Larger holes lower speed • Ensure the motor has adequate power • Keep constant pressure on the core, do not force it, allow the diamonds to cut at there own pace • For best results ensure an adequate flow of water
